Club World Cup: quarter-final and semi-final line-ups announced
The quarter-final line-ups for the Club World Cup are all known. Following Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund’s success against Juventus and Rayados de Monterrey, the competition’s final line-up is now clearer. In the first game, Fluminense will face Al-Hilal on July 4. The following day, Palmeiras will take on Chelsea.
The two winners of these encounters will meet in the semi-finals on July 8. In the other half of the table, we have some more intriguing clashes in store. European champions Paris meet Bayern Munich on July 5, while Real Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund on the same day. We could therefore potentially have a PSG-Real Madrid semi-final on July 9.
