Atlético: Antoine Griezmann extends contract!
During the 2025 off-season, Antoine Griezmann reached a turning point in his adventure at Atlético de Madrid. With his contract set to expire in a year’s time (June 2026), the Frenchman was hesitating between a new experience in MLS or the Gulf, or continuing with the Colchoneros. In the end, the 34-year-old Frenchman decided to prolong the pleasure with the Madrilenians.
“Atlético’s all-time top scorer has extended his contract with the club, which expires in 2026, by a further season. Antoine Griezmann and Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement to renew the French player’s contract until June 30, 2027,” the statement said.
